I want to live my next life backwards

You start out dead and get that out of the way right off the bat.

Then you wake up in a nursing home feeling better every day.

Then you get kicked out of the home for being too healthy.

You spend several years enjoying your retirement and collecting pension.

Then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.

You work 40 years or so, getting younger every day until pretty soon you're too young to work.

So you go to high school: play sports, date, drink and party.

As you get even younger, you become a kid again. You go to elementary school, you play and have no responsibilities.

In a few years you become a baby and everyone runs themselves ragged keeping you happy.

You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, spa-like conditions: central heating, room service on tap.

Until finally . . . . . You finish off as an orgasm. I rest my case. :)

First off, Happy Birthday Ceemo ;) You RULE :)

Apologies for not being around much online the past few days, am up to my eyeballs painting my ceiling. I have never painted with textured paint before, its a lot harder to use than normal emulsions because of the thickness and all the bits in it, plus getting it all even (it doesn't go quite as far either). 3 hours = half the ceiling done. I have used one 5L pot of paint so far, and have to buy another one tonight, so I can hopefully finish this weekend. I keep threatening to take photos, one day I will, but you wouldn't even know I had a big wanger stain up there, so take one last look now heh.

I have lots of emails and pm's to respond to so bear with me :) I hope to catch up with everyone's messages and lj's over the next day or so :)

Can anyone recommend an indoor house plant, that is fairly big and does not need too much light? It'll be beneath an uplighter if that effects it any way.

I want something to put in the corner to hide the satellite wires that come through the wall and it doesn't get much light over there.

I'm useless with plants, the only thing I haven't managed to kill is a spider plant and a cactus heh, and something I don't know the name of bwah.

My rubber plant recently bit the bullet :(

Wii, Dexter - TV, Weekend

EEEEEEEEEE my car is working how it should again.    After a terrible night's sleep on Thursday night, Friday night I crashed out pretty early, I obviously needed the sleep as I did not wake up until about 11.15 on Saturday, whoa.    I had a bit of panic because I had to pick up my new key fob for my car at the Peugeot place which is a 30 min drive away and they closed at 12.   I literally put clothes and ran out the door, with some serious "get out of bed" hair.      I arrived at Peugeot with 5 mins to spare and picked up the new key fob, yay I can now lock the car without worrying about if I can get the immobiliser off and getting stuck somewhere.   The guy there couldn't stop staring at my hair bwah, I told him that yeah, I got up late and ran around like a lunatic to try and get here before they closed so I didn't have to wait for another week to pick up the key fob and he said "people pay a lot of money for a hair do like that" ROFL   It was quite creative heh.

I finally watched the last 3 episodes of Dexter whilst ironing on Saturday afternoon, I really enjoyed this season alot. Hopefully I'll find the time to watch some Pushing Daisies that the cheeky nettemo gave me.     EEEEEEEE for new Tudors coming soon, its been a long old wait for Season 2.       A new series started here with Glenn Close in called Damages last week, I forgot to set the the box to record the repeat on Friday night, now I have missed part 2 yesterday, I may have to search for that because the trailers looked great.

Saturday night was Wii night over my old roomies place - I WANT A WII is all I can say.   I've been hearing a few things about them, and oh_hoooo (who's been quite the busy boy the past few days and not happy he hasn't had time to play on LJ) had quite an amusing story from playing with one the other day, have you recovered yet oh_hoooo?     The game included with the package is Wii Sports, what can I say I rule at the bowling - 176 points wahoo.    I suck at boxing and agree with oh_hoooo you can't help but move closer to the TV when playing this game.   The rest of the evening we all played Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, the 100 m dash nearly gave me an asthma attack LOL.     For those who do not know too much about the wii, here's an example clip of how you play on the wii, quite funny heh. Apparently there is a worldwide shortage of these systems and those who have them are charging an extra £100 over here than what they actually are, pffttt.

Spent Sunday at the mama's discussing on how to do redecorate my bathroom, that will be my next project at home.   They just got themselves a flatscreen tv which was delivered yesterday, its a big ass 37inch baby whoot.    Very similar to what I got but different colour.     They are pleased and for the first time in as long as i can remember, I didn't have to set it up for them, whoot.

I have already failed miserably already at the first one, it is my first day back in the office today and the day isn't even over yet, bwah. oh well. I tried heh.

We'll see how #2 goes, although there may be a few times this year I'll just completely fall off the planet for ease :P

How are we all? Did everyone have a great Christmas? I hope everyone was extremely spoilt, I have obviously been a very good girl from some of the lovely things I received from Santa :D Stop laughing, I have been a good naltee girl this year ;)

Thank you to everyone who sent cards and pressies, you are all NALTEE ;)   I hope Christmas post didn't let me down and everyone received cards and what not from me too.

Christmas was good this end, was great spending time with all the family, granny rules as ever, I got back earlier today.    Staying true to his word, watched The Beast with step-dad bwah, he tells me the book is quite different, but I have yet to start it, but he enjoyed it just the same.      Will probably start that on the plane later.

ROFL, I'm actually awake for CSI for a change

Oh well, will try and catch up with everyone in the next few days.
